It's time to upgrade and repair the front suspension.

Part of this is retiring the OME's and going coilover. The two I am looking at are the Radflo 2.5", and the Sway-Away 2.5". They both look good, but having no practical experience with either I am taking opinions.

I would prefer that you own one of these, but if you have installed either and had issues, that is valid as well.

They are within $50 of each other so cost is no factor, which would you get?

I got ya guys! I re-built my whole front suspension +wheel bearings at 93k I even have a set of lower control arms to be used to shrink the downtime! gimme a call!

This will be two cases of beer and some good pizzas kind of day.

I am trying to get everything in so I can find a weekend to do this. Know any machine shops that can press in the LCA bushings?

We got a press at Boztec! this is a no joke re-built and may take 2 days but if we press the bushings into my old control arms then we just have to replace them and the shocks

Plus drilling out the spot welds and welding in new alignment tabs..

This is going to be a chore.

Thats what friend are for.. Give me a god lead time on when your going to tackle this and I will be there (as long as the wife lets me! hehee)

Buddy, I will take you up on it.

This is kind of an "all hands on deck" operation. I still need to find a welder to attache the new alignment tabs.

What kind of shape are your old ball joints? I think you could press in new ones, right?

I will have to check on that.

I am out of town June 25th - July 3rd but would be willing to help out or drink beer and watch any other dates.
Drinking and heckling is encouraged, if we get a crowd we should have enough sober people to finish the job.
:)
Did you get them from Overland Warehouse? They have specific valving proprietory to them and they have a rebuild program.

Metaltech has good pricing on now, and I tend to stick with vendors that have done a good job in the past.

I considered OW but they really need to get a phone number on their website. No call, no order.
