</a><br />Deer Valley Trail. We headed out Sunday after setting up camp in the middle of a rainstorm. Apparently it pays to check the forecast prior to heading into the Sierras... After slipping and sliding on every wet rock, we were able to get through with all three FJs and were rewarded with a beautiful drive on open fire roads which crossed the Pacific Crest trail and plunged into one of the most colorful fall landscapes I have seen in a long time. Thanks to everyone who spotted and offered humor and encouragement at the many challenging and wet obstacles. It was a blast to be out with fellow FJ drivers/friends, and my two year old daughter had a blast.
