    Rob you will be fine many of us are running that tire size your speedo will be off by 5 mph on the low side which means your speeding when the speedo reads 65

    Rob, your front tires may rub the body mount slightly with the 285/70/17s. Mine did only at full lock when turning hard in to a parking spot. It will not cause any damage, just wore a hole in my mud flap. Having after market rims with a different offset may make it rub a little more. The solution is a body mount chop if it starts to drive you crazy.
