yo spud!...you can "borrow" Auto Modown from my playlist by finding the song on my playlist, clicking the pop-up arrow on the far right of the player and selecting "add to my playlist" if you so choose.

Thanks for the welcome just trying to learn my way around on this site. Nice color on your FJC
  • Steve

Thanks ,maybe I can make it down there sometime for a run I'm sure it would be fun .The picture was taken on Blackbear Pass near Ouray CO. drops down into the town of Telluride. From looking at your pictures you have been enjoying you FJC also.

got it, I'll bring it and I'll be there when you get there. One quick thought, I know there is a gasket between the tailpipe and muffler.

I do not know if you can use your exisiting one or if you need a new one. I do not have the gasket because I used it. -Ken

Would like to carvan to SNT, but works got me tied up till Friday. Expect me early Saturday morning to part take in the SNT Mob run & poker run.
  • gringo

Let me know if you wanted me to haul the tail pipe up to SnT. If you don't need it anymore no big deal, will save me any hassles of lugging it around. If you do want it, I think I offered it to you for 40 bucks but you would need the oem gasket between the muffler and pipe.
  • gringo

will do, I'll be there Friday late afternoon.

Hey, I saw an army green with a roof rack over at Blackstone and Bullard while I was getting my FJ serviced at Michaels around 3...that wouldn't have been you would it?
  • MLM_FJ08

I didn't think I had seen a rack on your rig, but I figured I'd ask to be sure :) and sadly neither of those was me. Did you guys run the trail while you were up there? If so, was there still a tree blocking about half of the road (more towards the Kings side)?
  • MLM_FJ08

Ah, sometimes that's the best kind of trip lol Basically the only trail I've gotten to up there is 12S01. I'm trying to be careful which trails I run because I'm still completely stock and inexperienced. I think I saw something on buck rock on a website, but I haven't gotten up there yet. And yeah, it would be fun to plan a run :)

Also I'm hoping to plan a Step Cal meet up at my house since we live so close to the park. However, I don't really know the trails well, so if it the discussion on the page gets interest, any input you could add on the trails up here would be awesome!

Hi! Thanks for the warm welcome. Name is Hendrik and I just got an 08 Sandstorm a few months ago. New to 4x4. Or is the proper term "wheelin"? Attempted and failed Bald Mtn twice now due to snow. First time I got stuck just a few feet away from the main road. Second time a friend in a Ford Explorer got high centered. Will attempt again when all the snow has melted.

It was awesome meeting you guys too, we had a blast :) I didn't get a chance to upload the pictures we got yesterday, but I'm planning on doing so tonight; my sis said she thinks she got some great shots.
