i did not START a thread but have mentioned it in other ones... im pretty sure it was a target thing. There is another Fj around the corner from me, if it ends up wit an arb imma flip out ! lol
You can do most of the install by yourself except it helps to have someone there to lift the bumper into place. The best online instructions I've seen we're from Brock's Brick House build.

I can talk you through it if you have any questions, just PM me and I'll send you my cell phone number.
My sandstorm isn't as shiny as it once was. I tend to let the passenger side take all of the pinstriping damage -- that way I don't have to see it every time I get behind the wheel :)
by the looks of ur pics thats tumey hills you seen the abandoned town of new idrea off new idrea road up there? i have been up ther a bunch.... its all closed now though last i checked
it is an abandoned city buuilt in the 1800's the mined murcury there then it was used as a trash dump and drug rehab camp till the 70's when it closed, it is a really cool place....but its a ways back there and i always get stopped by BLM guys trying to get rid of us cause of the asbestos...im pretty sure the whole area is still closed, but if u go up there on like a tuesad usually no one is around. the town has some amazing history..look it up if your interested. the town is called new idrea. and yea i did baldy stock also....some pics of it on here among the rest and my jeep crew..lol anyway have a good day sir.
I'm new to racing trucks. I've got a couple of friends that race Baja on bikes. A friend of mine races a class t truck for Vorra, Score, BITD, and More. My friend is involved with the Locos Mocos Pits in Baja, so next year, I'll be going down with them. My plan is to make my FJC a class 3 race truck. It will take a couple of years or so. When my kids are 16 (12 now), I want to race the Baja 1k in it.
Our place in SF sold last month, now we're moving back to San Mateo by Trader Joes/K Mart area. 3 bdrm/2 bthrm, 1 car garage (the runner doesnt fit in most garages) backyard, hot tub and best of all it was a forclosure so it was a steal. Gonna miss the city but its nice to be back!
