FJ Cruisers of Northern California

AllCal in CentCal?

hey StepCalers! i've discussed with a couple of StepCalers the possibility of someday hosting an AllCal in your region and wanted to know if you had any recommendations that might serve as a good venue. some of the criteria would be:

Access to a large network of trails
Large group camping area
Relatively accessible

i know the Shaver Lake/Bald Mountain area has a large network of trails, but not sure about large group camping areas. the Mojave and Lone Pine areas are another possibility.

of course, you guys have Surf N Turf every year, but it would be nice to incorporate Central California into the annual AllCal circuit.

Did you make it to Shaver? I was just at Shaver yesterday with 6 J**ps, theres alot of snow um there. A couple of lifted Toyotas on 40's ran in ahead of us an blazed a nice trail. But there were some other guys there not aired down and digging ruts. So a few of the J**ps got stuck a couple times, i'm bone stock and I barely had any wheel spin. It was a good day, it was the first time ive have my FJ offroad. Its a step up from my JK
