OEM GPS

Does anyone have or seen the factory GPS system for the FJ Cruiser?

I see that Ebay has a few for sale but not sure if it's just a plug and play?

Any thoughts?

Yep I've got one and like it but it is a lot of $ for what it is, I won mine at a raffle and installed it in 5 mins very easy to do although you do lose the drivers side dash top box

Ebay has it for $142, I thought that is pretty reasonable (compared to the dealer) and other cheap GPS out there (a good one runs right at about $100 but of course you wouldn't be able to mount it in the stock location.

Is it prewired in the driver side dash top box?

it comes with a small bit of pre made harness you just plug it in.

I work on lots of FJs on this site, if you like I can hook it up

I'm not mechanically inclined at all so I will definitely take you up on your offer if I decide to go this route. I will buy beer :)

Do you happen to have pics of yours so I can take a better look? Is the price on Ebay the best around?

I just bought my FJ so i'm sucked dry now but looking at new toys to possibly get in the future. If I do end up getting one, I'll definitely message you.

Did you get yours from the dealer or Ebay? Is it exactly like the one in the Ebay link I posted above with the oem box, etc?
