I have just created a letter about: Release Unsuitable Lands Back to Multiple Use-HR1581
I hope you will too. I know you are as busy as I am, but it only took about two minutes using this Save The Trails letter generator.

Bill HR 1581 has been introduced by Rep Kevin McCarthy to release lands being held by BLM that will not be designated as wilderness back to the public for use and recreation.

for those of you who want to keep track of the progress of Bill HR 1581, you can do so by visiting its page on govtrack: http://bit.ly/o3dEUf
the Bill has to go through a preliminary round of approvals before it goes to the House to be voted on. if you happen to live in a District whose representative is a co-sponsor of this bill, it wouldn't hurt to send them a thank you letter and/or any supporting comments (e.g. personal stories about the outdoors, etc.).
