FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Tater & all, I wanna get a run together at Naches, WA this year, maybe tie in with the Trifecta (Ouray, Moab, Naches, All-Cal) depending on location, dates & participation, I especially wanna tie it in with the All Cal this year 'cause I don't think I'm going to either Ouray or Moab...

What would this be called?  The Quadrecta?

2hrs from Ouray to Moab

15 hrs from Moab to Naches

14.5 hrs from Naches to Hollister

Whatcha think?

I've been meaning to visit y'all up the PNW

Sounds good to me!

I am in. I wanted to talk to you about trails up there we can hit. Lets look at dates and see what we can get set up. There has been a lot of interest in another Trifecta event.

Oh and also TETRADRECTA

IYDK, you can drive The Oregon Back Country Discovery Route off road from the Ca border to the Wa border, it takes a few days. On the Wa side it ends near Naches. I would love to do this some time.

Route 5 - 750 Miles. California to Washington. Maps Available

This sounds good. I'm thinking August, 2011.

Wow that seems to be real good! I mean, really! I have just bought a book about about the Owyhee Desert, that is close to that area. I would like to take part in a small expedition to explore that area. Probably August is a good time to do so...

That looks like a great trip! We are planning to be in Washington in early July, and now I want to take that route, the pictures are amazing!

Yeah, I first started getting interested about Naches when my sous chef told me about this run about two years ago!

If we make a small expedition each participant could buy a section of the map. Unfortunately they do not put too much info on the website, I wish they had some samples of the maps, but it seems worth it, doesn't it?

PS their "crusade" against the GPS is pathetic. As with any instrument, one has to be able to use it. With the proper device, I mean a topographic GPS with tracks and waypoints, much of what they say is nonsense.

defiantly interested!

I'm getting some of the guys from the NWFJCC to get the trail runs together and help me organize this thingy...they ran it last year during the trifecta so I couldn't go (even though I only did the Duofecta...
glad you're planning this. i was going to get in touch with someone up in the northwest to plan something.
