Middle Canyon Quick Run
Did a quick ride on Middle Canyon (if you turn left at the Long Canyon fork you're on Middle Canyon) today to the meadow below Eagle Rock. Found a couple downed trees that were partial obstructions that I cleared. Trail condition is good - now wash outs or obstructions. For those of you not familiar with Middle Canyon, it's a short ride to meadow where the trail gets brushy. Along the way there's:
- short loop trail about 1 mile on the right that rises about 1000 ft to nice view camping spot at the crest.
- at the summit there's great view east and west along the 50 and the mountains beyond including phantom spires on a clear day .

sounds neat, 11N18 yes? We should do that when we do LCT next.

Yep. it's 11n18 - great for short runs. i hike portions of it at least twice a week.
