FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Does anyone have a cheap way to add around .5" to my front?
I currently have Bilstein 5100 F and R,
OME 886 in front, 895 in rear.
My front is a tad bit low for me. I heard I cannot use the OME spacer in the front. I am guessing it's because the posts on the strut are not long enough?
Any idears?
Thanks!

If I remember correctly what Tater once told me, a NorCalFJ sticker gives you about 0.25 inch extra. You need two, on each side.
BWAAHAHHAHAHAH!
Nice
So when you say the toytec spacers, you are referring to the ones that came with the springs? I got these from RangerJim. He never used them and the spacers were in the box.
Etsy said for some reason he didn't think you could use the OME springs with the spacers on a Bilstein 5100. I couldn't figure out why other than the posts.. Hmmm.
Cool. Ok, because the plates that came with the springs look more like 1/2 inch. That might be too much.
Wait a minute, You have 5,100's and are trying to put a spacer lift on top of them? Are you going higher than the 2 1/2 inch lift they provide? BZ was putting some OME Springs on a 5,100 set up. Hit him up.
I will.
Technically, I don't think I am. The 5100's spring seats are back down to stock, but they have the OME 886's on them, which do provide lift.
Another thing I thought of. Spacers go on top of the Strut, therefore the shock won't be any more extended, correct?
:)
