Ok, I'm trying to remove the front plastic, body colored piece on the front of my hood. Not just the fake scoop grey plastic... I read on the blue room about some nuts as well as blue and orange clips that tend to break and will need to be replaced, but as far as how to pull this piece off exactly. Its pretty tight and I dont want to snap it. Not sure I'm pulling on it the right way...

Not sure I'm pulling on it the right way... LOL  That's what she said. sorry I had to  ha ha ha. BTW, I have no clue on how to pull it either  : )

... heh, heh hehhhhh. Thanks man. Yeah, very helpful. Lol!

I believe there are 4 clips that you will need to replace because they get broken when you pop it apart

I think there are about 10 clips ( 3 orange and 7 blue) total .
3 clips on each side and   4 on the top.

Remove  all M6 nuts in front.
Also on each side of the hood cover, there is one M6 nut  to be removed.

A have a picture of it at home. If you can wait,
I'll post it when I get home. I'm working today till 2 pm,

Sounds good Nestor, I'd appreciate it!

Here are the pictures of the removed fake hood cover/air vent;

Legend:

Nuts - Red circles

Clip  - Orange and Blue circles

Thanks Nestor. Is there a way to get the clips off without braking them? And when you pull the piece off do you just lift up on it until the clips release? One last question, if I do have to replace my clips, do you have a part number for them?

Yes, I forgot to mention that you will break those clips.
Make sure all the nuts are removed and start lifting the hood cover from the left or right corner.

P/N 75396-35020 Blue clip , ~ $.98 each
P/N 75395-35070 Orange clip, ~ $3.02 each

I have them if you need them right away.

I was looking at poping my hood piece off today to paint this week. If that'll work for you, I'm gratefull.
