FJ Cruisers of Northern California

so what's the deal?...i've seen a few photos online, but i hadn't seen any in person until last Wednesday when i saw two in SF. one was white and the other black. saw the white during the day and the black in the evening.

Interesting. I know they were a concept but I was unaware they were being produced
yeah I've seen 'em but they where ugly no one has made a good looking convertible FJ yet
seen a white one going on 24 towards walnut creek....
Never seen one in person...... Pic do not look good to me.. IMO
There is a sun fusion one that drives around the South Bay.

They aren't made by Toyota, it's a 3rd party that does them, and the are fugly as hell.
they look fine with the rag top down but when the rag top is up, it just doesnt look right.
This has apparently been around since 2006/7. I can't make my mind up, I like the idea if it had some sort of hard top that was removable, but these conversions look too hip hop for my liking.

Agreed, a removable hard top without the rag would be awesome. and some beefy rollbars.
