CA SMOG 2013

Hey guys, long time no hear, see from all you guys.

So. assuming all of us with '07's california wants to check my emissions. It's time for to get my FJ smogged. But houston I think I'm gonna have a problem. I have an afe cai... and apparently I'm gonna need my stock intake back if i remember right. To make a long story short, I dont have it anymore. I think it wont pass the visual test of smog. so my question to you guys is...

do i need to find a place that can do 4wd.

has anybody got smogged yet?

does anybody err umm...*cough**cough* know someone that can... miss the visual part?

does anybody have an intake I can borrow/rent? Please.

most shops are set up for all wheel drive but make sure to tell them I just smogged mine and the guy about drove it off the ramp because he thought it ran true 2 wheel drive out of 4..lol Oh and just hit up some small shop on the corner they usually dont even look under the hood (dont mention the intake)

Don't have CAI but they did stare at my scuba mod for a long time. When he asked me what it was, I told him and he stared for another full minute without saying a word. LMAO (on the inside.)

Went to a SMOG test last month and my FJ got the PASSED result.

I have to tell the tech ahead of time about the TRD CAI and dual TRD tips exhaust before he does the visual inspection.

He asked me about the Spectre mini breathers for the SCUBA mod, the Blue Sea 12-slot fuse block, the Hella 4-way relay box and the HID ballasts mounted on the side of the radiator brackets.
