All-Cal Meet & Greet 2009 - Recap

what a blast it was! great hanging with you guys again and even better that we got to have fun with the SoCal gang as well.

it would've been nice to wheel more, but to tell you the truth, i really enjoyed staying behind to hold the fort and socialize with everyone. it was a meet & greet after all.

so a lot went on and not all of us were everywhere at the same time - post your stories, interesting sights, things overheard, etc.

i'll go first! Vaughn's Segway x2 was a blast! we never got around to organizing the obstacle course race, but perhaps next time. i think the headlight survived(?) despite one crash and a mysterious event that left CA Annie stranded. my left shin also fell victim to being chased by Suecyde on the Segway. lol.

That was a great weekend, I'm still reeling. I woke up this morning and my voice is gone. Oh well, totally worth it!

Thanks to all who helped us with the tent and packing... we were pitifully crippled and could have never done it without you!

I want a Segway so badly! That was a BLAST, thank you VAUGHN for bringing it for us!

I cant believe they would not let us Sharpie FunJunkie! That would have been legit, I feel so ripped off :)

I'm so glad so many could make it. You guys are the best, cant imagine that it could have worked out any better :)

there was a point when i was wasted enough that i dared paul (?) to get some sharpies and do up funjunkies face and he said.....NO! ha ha ha ha

annie...you chasing that white car with that segway...i kept thinking MALL-COP and was laughing my as5 off.

Crazy nights!!! WOW the whole thing was over way too fast.that rig getting filpped and the recovery was nutz Mike was all over the place fixing the tie rod end, I got the passengers out helped out where I thought I could help

There is one place that I can think of that can get all back together sooner than later......................................................

What a great time! I started off on the wrong foot with the idle pulley going out, but that was taken care of by the awesome group of friends we have (Bozly, Steve, Paul and Brandon especially). I didn't go on the trail runs with the group because I wanted to stay away from the trail traffic and run trails at my own pace.

Sonof40 saved me from the blazing sun by showing me Thai Island located at the "secret spot"

I had a good amount of drinks and was then named Hoff

Met some new faces and friends

Rode a segway for the first time

Almost hit a pole

Did I eat any of the hamburgers that I made for everyone?

Attempted the boulder climb just behind our campsite

This weekend was very relaxing for me and it was just what I needed. I hope we do that again, but not as far. Nor-Cal summit at slick rock?

Wow!!! As always - great hanging out with the Norcal crowd! This was my third exposure to y'all - and I have to say that you guys know how to put on a party like no other!!! Y'all are sisters and brothers from other mothers and are one group that can hang with the Socal group when it comes to party worthiness! I mean - look at FunJunkie's face here...

That's pure drunken bliss right there ^^^! Hahaha! Makes me kinda glad I missed Annie's Jello shots....

Great seeing everyone and I look forward to seeing you all again. Steve mentioned that I should let y'all know when I'm up in Norcal visiting and we'll get a run or a Happy Hour together. So sorry I missed some of you before you left Sunday morning - I had to have some real breakfast!!
