07 Left Front Steering Knuckle WTB

I'm looking for a Left Front Steering Knuckle. My FJ is a base model 4x4

Does anyone know of an FJ recycler in the North Bay or Sacramento? Any other Toyota part shops besides the dealers?

I person hit me in the front tire / rim at very slow speed and bent the knuckle. No damage to rim or tire.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well apparently this is a very weak spot on an FJ. The forums have a lot of comments about these being weak and recommend welding on reinforcements.

I have phoned several Toyota recyclers and have not found any good used ones available. Just to show how much Toyota loves us. Dealer list price on this part is $410.35 Toyota specialty parts house $300.00 Use if available from recycler $195.00 From what I have found it looks like it the same part 2007 to today with any OEM attention or improvement. please correct me if I'm wrong. Like the FJ but this is a way under engineered part for being a 4 x 4 suspension item!!!

There are 2 wrecks in Sacrament being parted if anyone needs some interior parts. Both with driver side front end damage. arrggggg...

You may want to see if you can find a 4th gen 4runner which shares the basic suspension with FJC. i would bet they are the same part number and more plentiful in the wrecking yards.

I'm going to call Yodaman in Santa Rosa and my local tire & alignment guy tomorrow morning for advise. Normally I would change this out myself but I'm just slammed at work at the moment and I have to have this back on the road by Thursday.

Worst case I will authorize the dealer to repair. I can agree to most of these repairs but $276 for labor to replace 2 sway bar links seams a little much considering they just bolt on (correct me if I'm wrong please).
