ITS ON!!! That’s right everyone we thought it was canceled but, an Email I received today states the fireworks display will be held July 6th so we are doing our annual run from the 5th to the 7th.For the newbie’s This is an awesome trail for your first run with Nor cal. The trail is rated as easy so your stock rigs will make it. For the vets there are the usual hot spots like V-rock, Hollywood hill, poise rock, and now Beer rock. If you want to know how fun it was hit up the guys and gals from the last trip and plan the date...
We will caravan at 12 noon on Thurday at the park and ride on 145 and 41. Please let me know if your meeting us so we don’t leave you behind.
List of people meeting at the park and ride Off 41 and 145:
Crawlinrollins
Rachelle Clancy
Mike Oliver- +1
MLM+3
FJ Drivin
Cowboy
RJamsoil
::::ATTENTION::::
Everyone attending I need a list of people meeting up with us at noon on Thursday!!!!! As for the weekend Thursday will just be a "set up camp day" and welcome the new comers to our shindig. Friday is up for grabs I'm wanting to hit the lake / creek for a fishing session in the early morning. We may hit some of the alternate trails in the area. Friday night Im going to cook up some tritip for everyone ( if you can bring a side dish it would help) on the smoker then its party time lol. Saturday we will leave camp around 12 noon to head up the trail. We will hit what ever obstacles on the trail you are all wanting to take on. Saturday night we will watch the fireworks over the lake from way atop bald mountain then its a night trip down the trail to camp. This is just an Idea of what the weekend will hold Id like to welcome the new comers that are rsvping to all of you that need a spotter at any time on this run we are all here to help but I think you will be fine even if this is your first offroad adventure.
Got 2 signs 1 will be on the turn off at rockcreek road the other will be the turn off at the camp grounds (the directions and maps are in the comments)

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to give you a heads up that I might not be able to make the meetup on Thursday @ Noon. Ill try to be there, but don't wait for me. I will meet you at the camp sometime Thursday however.
Okay, my wife and I are 90% go for our rookie run with you guys. Sounds like a ton of fun.
Should be able to make it to the park n ride by noonish on Thursday. Depending on her work schedule there is a possibility we may have to head back to the Bay Area a little earlier than everyone else. I should have that update today or tomorrow so I'll let you know.
This sounds like a ton of fun and I'm down for some fishing too. Well, at least casting a line and having a few beers....
Going up to the house tomorrow to clean the bar b. It still has sand in it from Pismo!
Vince, I have a bone stock rig with factory rock rails. I took it all the way up last year. Nothing got scuffed that wasn't designed to get scuffed and the minor scuffage I did get was mostly due to driver error. I'll show you at the park and ride.
Also be advised I'm pretty OCD about my rig. : )
Im already getting gear ready lol
Very true. My sliders saved my truck going up to Bald the hard way haha
im thinking i might just do the sliders and armor this weekend. i dont plan on doing anything crazy but id like some protection.(cant go into something you dont know.....bear skinned "stock") ha
Most definitely :) You'll have no problems. There are some really good spotters in the group to help you if needed. My rig is stock except for tires and some rock sliders, but I've done the trail with bald tires and had no problems.
I have to figure out when i get off of work friday, or if i am even going to have to work. if i dont than i will meet up with you guys on thursday at noon. either way i will let someone know.
1. question. the trail to the campsite is do able in a stock rig....correct?
Yeeee!!!
: D
@NekGuda - Looking forward to seeing you guys there :)
It just dawned on me that this is only a little over a week away. I'm super excited!
